One of my favorite prints for the last year, even in the Summer, is buffalo plaid. Red and white, black and white and navy and white plaid combinations feel especially Summery to me. I'm even favoring it as I'm starting to plan baby #4 nursery.
So when I saw this skirt from Chicwish- it instantly jumped out at me. Flared skirts are a struggle for me at this point in pregnancy because they look weird under my bump, but most of them are too short once I hike them over my bump. This skirt won my heart when it arrived and ended up being long enough to wear over my bump. And it's not maternity- so you can wear it too!
It's finally heating up here in Missouri- so I'm reconsidering usual pants uniform and may start adding a few more skirts into my everyday style. I'm resisting, but I think I'll cave. What are you wearing to stay cool right now? Shorts? Skirts? Dresses?
So cute! Your bump looks great in this skirt! I am totally rocking shorts and under the knee dresses! (midi length) they're great and keep me covered while running after two kiddos!

This skirt complements your adorable bump perfectly! Side note: I'm always, always, always obsessed with you hair.
ReplyDeleteI love that skirt! It looks great on you! Such a fun summer pattern! The nude cut outs are the perfect accessory! Susan
ReplyDeletethe buffalo plaid is just enough, not fussy and so chic! I'm also in Missouri (Saint Louis), so holy humidity, I'm surviving on dresses at present.
