I really struggle with socks or closed shoes in the Summer because my feet get SO hot. And if my feet are hot- the rest of me is hot. The other night Soren and I went to a concert and he insisted I wear boots- one, because it was raining and two because we were headed to a concert. I obliged and wore some white ankle boots, but holy cow I was so hot in them. I ended up slipping them off mid-concert (shhh!) and sat in my seat with my feet on top of my boots. I knew I didn't want bare feet in that place, but eventually this pregnant momma couldn't take it anymore.

So interesting flat sandals are my best friends when it comes to feeling cute, chasing kids and walking around with a constantly growing belly.  And this year retailers have brought their A game with their flat sandals selection. I've purchased many of the sandals below from Nordstrom, Old Navy and Target and have already worn them all a ton. If you are looking at new flat sandals right now- I would look for a black and a light brown pair with lots of straps, laces or some interesting details. They will feel good and look good with all of  your Summer outfits.

  3. Love your blog, love your style! However, for the past 2 weeks, your blog has been running SLOW on my computer! Like 30-minutes-to-look-at-two-posts slow. Is this something you can fix?

  4. I'm loving the flat sandals with fringe. I think they're great and girly for summer and will segway nicely into late summer months. Love cognac color and black.
