ONE little MOMMA: Taking Sporty Up a Notch

Taking Sporty Up a Notch

|

TEE- Target // JACKET- Target // JEANS- Stitch Fix // SHOES- H&M // CUFF- Nickel & Suede // EARRINGS- N&S (Pebbled Black Cut Out- large) // PHONE CASE- Nordstrom

If you live here in Kansas City- you might know that we offer local pick up to our local customers. We have anywhere between 5-15 people use the code LOCALS each week and then swing over to pick their Nickel & Suede order when it's ready. It's fun to meet our customers in person but you never know what I'll look like when you show up to get your order. I may or may not have a bra on yet- and often I'm in some version of a jeans, a tee and or a sweatshirt. And I never have this much makeup on.

BUT if I do get ready to run errands for the day or meet with friends- I will probably look much like this. I love this outfit because it is comfortable and sporty, but still dressed up. Wearing a graphic tee and sneakers is totally acceptable these days- but you can take the outfit up a notch by wearing jewelry (note the stacked cuffs, simple necklace and lightweight earrings), slightly darker eye makeup and putting a few braids in your hair before pulling it back. This hairdo started out wavy and I just twisted a section back on the right side and then fish tailed a braid on the left side. It adds some texture to a low key outfit and keeps it out of your face in a more stylish way than just a pony (or pinning it back if you are me).

Wanting to jump on the retro sneaker bandwagon this Summer? Here are a few I'm loving!

And as always- outfit details are below...

  1. I'm loving the sporty chic trend right now. I found some amazing maternity track style pants at Old Navy that are so comfy and flattering. You look great, as always!
