Well I knocked out half of my Christmas shopping last night. Amazon and I have become even better friends this year and I'd say I've used and abused my Prime membership to make it worth every penny. I love buying the perfect present for people and I have been lucky this year to have a few more people to buy for. We have had so many friends be generous with their time to help us this year and so I've taken advantage of the chance to buy some fabulous thank you gifts, I can't wait to gift them!

This outfit is perfect for everyday style this month. I fell in love with this vintage sweater last year when I found it at Savers. It's kind of enormous, but not so big that skinny jeans and cute booties can't save it. In fact, I named our Vintage Christmas Red leather earrings with this sweater in mind. When you have the time, be sure to comb the sweater rack at the thrift store in all sizes. You never know when you'll find a gem like this one- and it definitely would be easy to overlook!

Now a few questions for you... what are you looking forward to reading the most this month? Would you like to see some gift guide suggestions? Holiday hair styles? Dressier outfits? More updates on our crazy and messy life? (You'll get those either way.)

Also I'm considering a major hair cut change. I think it's time for a chop chop. Can you send your favorite short hair cuts my way? Oh, and feel free to make me change my mind. It might be the stress getting to me. I've found that my most stressful days I start pulling out either the teeth whitening trays, the hair dye or the tanning lotion- so this could be another coping mechanism. (But I don't think so!) Thanks a million.

  1. You'll look great with any cut! I know what you mean when you start getting the itch for a change I get that way a lot now that I stay home. I cut most of my hair off (in an effort to make some sort of style out of my post partum hair mess) But maybe thinking of color as well. Love your style!

  4. With you seriously considering a cut. At an inbetween stage . Was a very short angeled stacked bob. , now working on growing out the stacking to just an angeled bob , but honestly thinking of just cutting again. Amazon I have only used a few times , is prime worth it?

  5. Honestly, I LOVE your hair as is. I recently used it as inspiration for my own haircut, and it's my best haircut ever. Here are 2 of my favorite super shprt cuts though.

  9. When I was 17 I cut my elbow length hair down to a pixie cut. And it was WONDERFUL! I felt so much more like myself. So I think you should go ahead and chop that hair off. It will grow out in no time if you don't like it that much. I know it would look great on you and think of all the women you would inspire to just be brave and try out new things! And from experience I can tell that we need more inspiration on growing out short haircuts....
    I've always loved this haircut:
