ONE little MOMMA: I Quit... Ok I Don't, But Still

I Quit... Ok I Don't, But Still

|

If you have been reading OLM for any amount of time, you may have noticed that I hate to not blog. I almost never miss a weekday post, and it drives me crazy when I do. I have stuff to say and things to share, darn it! But for the past few weeks, I keep feeling like I'm drowning under all of the hats I'm wearing. I can't quite figure out a balance, and whenever that happens, my health suffers too. I have posts to finish and tutorials and outfits to put up - but they aren't happening today.

Last night I had to put in overtime wearing my mom hat as my two oldest flooded my carpeted bathroom and then my baby fell out of his crib. He is okay, but the poor kid has a wounded forehead to show for it. (My bathroom is also okay, but I doubt you are as worried about that.) After the kids were finally tucked away, it was time to be a small business owner and frantically hurry to finish packing Mother's Day orders. I'm not complaining because, holy cow, these 'problems' are blessings too - but I am just being real and letting you know where I'm at. I can't do it all all the time, even if I want to.

If you have some extra time on your hands, be sure to enter this giveaway before it ends. And this one! Have a great Tuesday!

  1. Hang in there Kilee!! I love your blog and the freshness of your honesty. From one mom to another...just because we CAN do it all doesn't mean we HAVE to do it all. As a mom whose youngest is now 15 take my word for it that you can't get these days back. Enjoy! The blog will still be here when you catch up with life. God bless you and your family.

  2. Oh Kilee... I was so with you last night! Sometimes it feels like it just never ends. God reminded me that one day I will wish I could hold my baby again and hear all the not so quiet voices filling my house. I pray he gives you strength during this busy time :)
